UPDATES ON HEARING DATED 21.11.2020

Dear members,

Hearing of Hon'ble Special Committee was attended today by our advocate and the Forum's representatives via Webex virtual platform. The case was well presented by our advocate. The main focus was on unverified cases of the Forum.  However, in response to the PUBLIC NOTICE in the newspaper "The Tribune" on 18.08.2016, Forum had submitted the list of all its members alongwith affidavits and ID proofs to the STP/ DTP, Faridabad on 15.09.2016 and at the levels of the Additional Chief Secretary, TCP Deptt. as well as to the Director General, TCP, Haryana at Chandigarh on 16.09.2016 for an abundance of caution before the cut-off date which was 19.09.2016.

The procedural order of today's hearing of the Hon'ble Special Committee is yet to be issued.  Further developments/ action as per the proceeding will be informed in due course. So, it is requested to log on to this blogger, check your email/ WhatsApp regularly and act accordingly.

As per our earlier posts, our members have transferred their dues alongwith the committee fee through their various sources including the children's account or a different name than the original member. So in such cases, the Forum is unable to issue the receipts. Members who have not got the hard/ scanned copy of the receipt may send their details of the transaction made to the Forum via WhatsApp/ email at the earliest.

It is also requested that those who have not yet paid their dues and special committee fee of ₹4,000/- per claimant to the Forum, pay the dues immediately otherwise their names will not be included in the list.

Sorry to say that the DTP has her own interpretation of the stipulated time period i.e. 4.08.2018 to 4.09.2018? This selection of the stipulated time period i.e. from 4.08.2018 to 4.09.2018 was their choice in violation of PO No.32. The basis of selection of the same is well known to the department. However,  our case is entirely different from the other parties before the Hon'ble Special Committee and any such condition was not applicable in the case of our Forum under point No.12 of PO No.32 dated 17.10.2020 but the department was reluctant. So, our senior citizen members have no option to leave blank/ unheard but the Forum has made all efforts to registered their personal presence with the department so that they are to be treated as verified on the basis of their previous scrutiny by the Court Commission constituted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the same case. Finally, the attendance sheet was duly acknowledged by the department.

As our Ld. Counsel has also attended the hearing on 30.10.2020 with the STP, so the further action will be taken by him at an appropriate time. 

Next date of hearing of the Hon'ble committee is on 21.11.2020.
